Someone please tell me that I have no chance to Brown RD, because a few of my teachers and friends keep urging me to apply there (and if I had the stats I surely would) and I keep telling them that it’s not even a long shot. Thanks.

That, and the fact that I forgot to mention that my rank is a dismal 18 out of an approximated 220 students.

And Human Awareness Club is where we get together and discuss Human Rights issues and learn about the injustices around the world and such. It's fun.

I don't see the point of this thread other than to bring your self esteem down. Or you want people to say "oh come on, you have a chance! shoot!" etc., so i'll say that although your chances aren't super high i'd definitely take a shot at it

your sats are NOT out of the league, don't focus too much on them, bring out your ECs and you'll have a chance

esp at brown, numbers aren't everything....even if yer sat score & class rank aren't super high, you still have a shot. just apply -- you'll never know unless you do........

What's your point So_Delirious? 1340 isn't super-high, but it is in the middle 50% for Brown. Certainly not a reason not to apply, especially given the excellent ECs.
