No confirmation yet, should I be worried?

<p>My SCEA application was postmarked and mailed on Nov. 1st. I still haven't received a confirmation that they recieved my materials. Should I be worried yet? </p>

<p>Also, how should I expect to receive the confirmation if I sent a paper application. by Email? Mail? Phone?</p>

<p>And, one last question... will the confirmation tell me if they have received all of my application materials including test scores, teacher recs., and school report? or will it just say that they received my common application and supplement? </p>

<p>Thanks! I definately hope this doesn't mean that my application never made it to Yale! Eeek!</p>

<p>I mailed mine also, it took about 3 weeks to hear back from Yale. They sent an email and a letter to set up the online decision account. It also said that they would contact me if anything was missing.

<p>I got my e-mail within a week but the letter still hasn't come! it's been about three weeks now...</p>

<p>do you think it will take longer to get mine since it was sent on the deadline instead of a few weeks before? I mean, they probably get thousands of apps. all coming in at the last minute, so it could take longer right?</p>

<p>i sent mine in more than a month before the deadline, it would probably take longer now since it is the deadline time.</p>

<p>Has it occurred to you that Yale may have waited until all apps were in to send a packet to the regional committee?</p>

<p>a couple of the kids at my school have already set up their interviews and I have not been contacted yet. Is this really bad?</p>
