No Contact so far from Hamilton, not to me, not to my counselor. Any hope?

The titles said it all. Is this lack of communication normal? I have only done the LiveLike Interview ( I have done pretty well) but since then there has been no communication. People with experience, please give me advice. What should I do now at this stage of the competition?
Some context: My GPA was not good. I have had 4 gap years, a teaching job and Project Leader of Volunteer group with more than 1000 hours of volunteering. My SAT is 2330. My TOEFL Ibt is 109/120. SAT II Math level 2 and Physics: both 740.
Any advice?

The typical experience is to apply before the deadline and wait for an answer. That’s how everyone I know has gotten into college. So you’re fine. If you were to be waitlisted, that’s different, but also premature to consider at this point. Btw, nice spelling of “Hamilton,” @shin18‌. Good luck.

In response to the other part of your question, direct contact with your guidance counselor would only be a positive sign in a limited sense. In those cases where this is necessary, it does probably mean that an application has passed the first stage of review. If this were not the case, then the College would not be seeking further information. However, the absence of this type of inquiry is more common and is certainly not a negative sign.
