No response from Hamilton

I'm having major problems in my application checklist in MyHamilton. I'd sent them my TOEFL scores in September, and even got an email from Hamilton saying "we have your TOEFL scores", but now in my application checklist, it says "We do not have a copy of your TOEFL scores".

I've sent them 2 emails regarding my situation. Its already been 4 or 5 days since I sent them the email, but I haven't received any information yet! And I'm going absolutely crazy!

Don’t worry! The admissions department is really busy at this time of the year. There’s no way they’re going to penalize you for something that you did send it. It’ll work out

Plus, its Thanksgiving season, so I guess they’re busy.

I haven’t gotten a MyHamilton login? I applied about a month ago for RD. Is this a problem or does it usually take a while?

First, it is a busy season and Thanksgiving week. Also, TOEFL is VERY unreliable when it comes to sending scores. Last year, I sent my TOEFL scores to 7 colleges, four (!!!) of which DID NOT RECEIVE THEM. So, I wrote an email to TOEFL asking them (or rather commanding them) to re-send my scores to these colleges, and within one day they replied, that they re-sent my scores for free. No apologies of course.

So, you should send an email to TOEFL (ELS) (they have a form on their website) and tell them that you paid for a score report to be sent to Hamilton but they did not receive it. They will resend it so you can be sure Hamilton has it. It’s free, you have got nothing to lose. I think they know that there are problems with their system that’s why they are willing to resend scores without further quesitons…also, they know that you must be saying the truth: why would you want to resend the scores otherwise. And I think it costs them about $0.001 to send a score report anyway…

Good luck.

But Hamilton had emailed me that they’d received my TOEFL scores already! After my TOEFL results were out, I asked Hamilton that I’d kept them as a recipient and if Hamilton received my scores or not. They replied that they HAD a copy of my scores. I have even saved the email! But now, MyHamilton says that the college doesn’t have a copy. I guess they haven’t sorted out all the applications that well.

I’d sent my common application on November 11th and received MyHamilton account on November 18. Now they’re extremely busy I guess. I’ve sent 3 or 4 emails like 5 days ago, and not a single reply!

Don’t worry, you’ll get yours soon!

I understand that they have already told you that they received your scores; but now they say they did not. They might have just (somehow?) misplaced them, or just overlooked them; the point is that just as you could have a printed page saying they have your scores, you could also have one which now says that they do NOT have them. Therefore, you could easily ask TOEFL to re-send them (which would take about 5 minutes, nothing more) and Hamilton would for sure have them in a couple of days; and you could relax knowing that everything is fine with your application. But instead, you are trying to figure out why they say they don’t have it, and whether they really don’t have it…but why does it matter?
Good luck:)
