No interview - should I be worried?

I am a Canadian applicant and some Canadians have already gotten interviews. Is this necessarily a bad/good thing?

@duckduckgoose2, read some of the other threads around here. It is not uncommon, especially for internationals, to have more candidates than interviewers with open slots. Interviewed people frequently (overwhelmingly, actually) are not accepted, and people without an interview are accepted (rarely, but you know the overall odds).

It is unfortunate, in that you would probably have enjoyed the interview and gotten a fuller sense of Yale. However, since the people who didn’t get interviews is completely random, it would be unfair to penalize them for that. You wouldn’t want to attend a school that penalized in a random fashion, would you?

Good luck. Do not worry about the interview.

@duckduckgoose2‌ I live in Canada too, and didn’t get interview. :frowning: Which city are you from?

Ahh I was so worried about this because someone else from my school (I’m Canadian) got one and I didn’t, so that’s really been stressing me out :(

@Crimsonred‌ I’m from Toronto, how about you?
@AnnaLuxe‌ Best of luck, don’t sweat it, I’m sure you’ll be awesome wherever you end up!!
