I applied regular decision right before xmas, and have not recieved an interview yet. I live in small city with a Princeton alumni club.

don't worry...my son didn't have one and he is at Pton.

but I really want one. I don't know much about Pton and would certainly like to know more.

i am with you. i havent had one yet and would like one

same situation here, and the interviews are always helpful...I'm willing to travel too, why hasn't anybody contacted me? I think I'll call up the admissions office next week and ask them if there's anything I can do to get an interview.

same here. maybe they contact us in feb?

Hmmm I dunno. I hope so. But all the other ivys have called me (cept UPenn)

To tell you the truth, I think I learn a lot more about the schools I'm applying to by going through every aspect of their websites. Don't just look under "prospective students". Go to the sites the current students go to. Go to campusdirt.com or check college books out of libraries. When I had my interview, I just thought up a few questions I already knew answers to so that I could seem interested in the school when in fact, I already knew the answers. I didn't really know how to show my knowledge about the school other than to ask questions and then after he answers, bring in a few other things I know about the school in my response. My interview was more about life than Princeton or myself and I don't see how it could really give the adcom much info about me. The interviews are really just a formality in my opnion. If you want one to learn about the school, go to the school's site and start looking around. I've spent hours on college websites looking at everything from course descriptions to current events at the school to organizations to the daily menu at the dining hall. I feel like I'm going there already kind of : )

I have not been contacted either, and I know there are alums in my area.

I just got an e-mail to take an interview. My interviewer is on Arizona's Supreme Court and he is a justice... its kind of intimidating. Does everyone get an interview?

I'm in Houston, TX, and have not yet been contacted for an Interview. I would predict that the deadline for turning in all the Interview reports is quickly approaching. Should I be concerned?

--Tri

s/h, no interview. Massachusetts. We had a kid apply early at our school and he got in. Could this be affecting my chances?

meh. i dont think so

my interviewer might be my pediatrician. weird.

I line in PA. I interviewed Jan 31 (my interviewer contacted me directly). My interviewer told me I was his first interview of the year. Call Admissions if you haven't heard--I mean, it can't hurt.
