<p>I'm an RD applicant. I know several people at my school who also applied RD. One had an interview last night and my other friend is having one in a few days. We live in the same city, and I thought alumni were supposed to contact people around his/her place... but nobody has contacted me about having an interview!</p>

<p>Chill out. Plenty of people get in without an interview. The alumni try to get to as many applicants as they can but not everyone can be interviewed.</p>
<p>In addition, some regions are just getting the names of applicants out to participating alumni right now. No one may have been asigned to you yet. It is also possible that the alum who was given your name was on vacation, was ill, was busy at work, etc., and simply has not had a spare moment to contact you yet.</p>
<p>My D was contacted via email from an alumni but when D replied to her she hasn’t heard from her again, she did leave her contact information cell phone included so I am encouraging D to reach out again via telephone this time.</p>

<p>I’m in the group of alumni who have been assigned their contacts but just haven’t had enough time to contact all of them :)</p>
<p>Afaik, alumni “interviews” are more like information sessions rather than an interview. I was never contacted for an interview when I applied years ago and I was accepted without ever having one.</p>
