so sorry, jersey boy. Good luck with your other options...
would you mind listing your stats?

Sure I mean Clemson was my reach, but the thing was my Head Athletic Trainer at my high school knows Clemson's head football coach personally. He was going to put a call in last week but the head was away for a week. So he said he would do it today but I just got my letter. Bad f***in timing. But anyway, its not the end of the world, I've gotten into all my other schools so far and if I had gotten into all my schools then I would have felt I could have gone higher. So.... oh yes my stats:

I just got my acceptance letter yesterday. I'm thrilled, but I am out of state and there was no mention of scholarships. does anyone know if there would have been if i was getting one? My new SAT scores were 2110, my gpa is 4.0 w and 3.8 uw. I have quite a few EC. Should I expect a scholarship?? Thanks.

Your SAT scores of 2110, and gpa of 4.0 w and 3.8 uw are comparable to mine and I got the OOS waiver. I applied very early...Oct 1. It seems like the $ comes in two waves. the first is for OOS who apply early and who they want to recruit to boost average test scores and to improve diversity.

the second wave and this was mentioned in my award letter is given in the spring after you accept and file your FAFSA. This is when my sister got her $

I think there is a big need based component to the spring awards but if folks who are offered the OOS waiver don't come I would think they would recycle those as merit aid as those awards don't cost them anything. You pay what the in state kids pay plus a little more since the in state kids have a SC scholarship program if they maintin a b average

So get your FAFSA in and see about honors. Your stats above and your class rank, if you are in the top 3% of your school, should get you in that program.

Clemson does not have a lot of $ so don't look for much more than OOS waiver.

FYI I have 8 APs, all honors and gifted and a lot of EC's. Can't remember if those were asked about on the app. I put this down for comparison only.

Good luck my sister loved Clemson.

clemson is beating maryland right now :(
