No real life/literary reference in essay = bad?

I just wrote about how fame is bad and you get a lot of attention and a lot of criticism and your freedom is pretty much taken away from you.

But I didnt use specific people like brittney or someone else

That might be a bad sign...

thats bad, i made a historical one that included George Washington and his role as the first president instead of general

i also wrote about the Great Gatsby

and I added a personal account

i think i got 10-11 for sure.

I filled the two pages, with kind of small handwriting.

I think that as long as you explain it well, it should be fine.

I filled it all, still had time to proofread. Hopefully a good sign. And I made up a book. Ive never done that before....

damn man. How many points will that knock me

I did that, too - I mentioned Lindsay Lohan, but my essay wasn't really focused on examples. Hopefully I'll be alright.

It's bad.

I used three examples: Shalimar the Clown (stayed true to the book), The Judges (made *some *stuff up), and the 1874 election between Greeley and Grant (all fact)--not that accuracy matters.

but i cant really hurt me that much? can it

i made a reference to magazines ridiculing celebrities for their faults . that enough to save me?

is it true colleges dont really weigh the writing section that much

Depends on the college, doesn't it?
Anyway, I really think that as long as you explained your point well, you should be fine. Maybe not perfect, but it won't be a huge dock.

Yeah, it's bad. But you could possibly pull off an 8 depending on how well-written your essay is. Everyone I've heard of who got above a 10 used literary/historical concrete examples.

this is awful man. I made real life references but didnot mention any names

It's OK, you can just retake it for writing in October.

but i probably wont get a question as easy as this
