I have sent two emails to Princeton with updates regarding my application (one was sent about a week ago and the other a few days ago) to their admissions office address uaoffice@princeton.edu. However, unlike a lot of the colleges to which I have sent the same update who have replied, Princeton has not sent any form of reply or notification indicating they have received the updates. Should I worry about this? How do I know if they have received my emails and added them to the file? Should I call their office?

Yoghurt.

My S has the same concern. Hope to find out the answer!
@nerdoldnerdith-so did you call?

No, I have not called yet. I’m not exactly sure whether or not I should. I know that a lot of colleges stress that applicants shouldn’t call about this kind of stuff, so I’m not sure of the same holds true for Princeton.

You probably should have emailed your regional representative. If your high school uses naviance, his or her contact information will be listed on Princeton’s page.

I had to email 3 times before they finally responded, make sure to include something like “I’d like a response to ensure that my info has been received” and hopefully you’ll hear back. I also emailed the uaoffice email

Do you know if they received your first two emails though? I would consider doing something like that, but I don’t want to sound pushy or anything. All that really matters is that the information got into my file. I think I’ll call them tomorrow.

I’d really encourage you to call - the admissions office is very patient and helpful. You will feel better about it and they will not treat you like you are nagging.

Thank you, cantiger. I shall call the admissions office tomorrow.
