Over thinking an email from Princeton?

Well, all of our decisions should by now be made (if Princeton somewhat closely follows Harvard's timetable)!!!

But to get to my question: Last Monday (the 19th) I had sent Princeton an email update about qualifying for Intel ISEF for a fourth time and instead of receiving a reply from the generic UA office email address I received one from Ashley McLeod, one of their "admissions assistants." It had one line saying that the information would be added to my file.

I'm probably reading too far into this, but does such a reply indicate anything about my chances?

You’re reading too far into this. I received the same email after sending in an update about a month and a half ago, didn’t even think about it. Just a standard admissions reply.

I also received an e-mail from Mcleod after my update.

Wouldn’t think too much of it.

Haha- received the same one here! XD And co-incidentally, I sent an update on the same day!!

I did not get an e-mail reply after sending an update on March 16th…

Don’t worry about it!

Did you send it to uaoffice@princeton.edu?

Certain. I’d imagine they’re too busy to get to all updates, though.

It’s not that they don’t get to all updates, I think they just don’t have the time to reply to each one and confirm their receipt…

So relax, your update probably got to them, and I’m sure the admissions office is a little too caught up with ‘stuff’ right now to discriminate among people who send them emails :P

That’s what I meant, haha. They can’t “get to” all of them as in they can’t reply to all.

ohh…me-bad  haha XD
