I'm taking SAT 2 in Nov, but Stanford said that it may not reach in time to be considered for EA. If I want to increase my chance of getting in, would you suggest I apply EA and just send in Nov scores a bit late (would they make their decisions already ??)

or would I apply through regular ? Actually is there advantage of EA at all if its non binding ?

I asked the same question, and here’s their answer:

X,

If you are planning to apply to our Restricted/Early Action Single Choice program (deadline November 1), November is too late to take SAT tests. It is advisable to take tests no later than October.
If you are going to apply to our Regular Decision (deadline January 1), you should not take the test later than December. January test scores will arrive too late for consideration.

Since SATll Subject Tests are not required for the evaluation, you will not be penalized if you don’t submit SATll Subject Tests scores. The scores of tests taken in November will be added to your file when received, but we cannot guarantee that they will arrive on time, even if rushed, for the evaluation.

Best wishes,
