No UCR Decision yet?

I remember someone told us that the decisions will be released by the end of May… And June is coming in two days. How long do we have to wait!? RIVERSIDE. COME ON! LET’S DO THIS!

Yeah when I called last week they said by the end of the month, which is tomorrow. I don’t know whether or not they’re sticking to that though.

Tomorrow will be the moment of truth. And I will keep my fingers cross tonight and pray.

Are they posting tomorrow for sure? :open_mouth: I hope they do, it’s june now…

I highly doubt it guys :(

I agree with essence, as of a couple days ago, they weren’t sure when they’d release decisions, so that doesn’t give much hope to today, but you never know, they might be able to shock us all with some news. Even if the news is when they’re expecting to release decisions.

So i’m not a fan of speculation or anything, but I was doing some research on the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences departments website and it said “Our office will be closed on Friday, June 1, 2012 as our staff will be attending an all-day conference. We apologize for any inconvenience.” I was wondering if this had any correlation with admission decisions because as we know, the individual departments make the determinations as to how much space there is and then they report to admissions which then makes the admission decisions. I then went and looked at a different department’s site and this is what The College of Humanities and Social Sciences said “Our office will be closed on Friday, June 1 for the UC Undergraduate Academic Advising Conference. Additionally, our Academic Advisors will not be available on Thursday, May 31 due to conference preparations and meetings.” Not sure if any of this has to do with admissions or not, but both departments (I’m not sure what other departments there are) are having meetings on Friday. Whether its significant or not, I’m not sure, I just thought I’d share, I’ve definitely got plenty of free time on my hands.

I read waitlist information on ms suns blog and I found out that the last day people in UC waitlists would find out their decisions is on June 1st. I’m not sure whether to believe it or not.

“waitlisted freshman applicants Will be notified of their status no later than June 1st.” that’s what it said to be accurate.

Thing is with UCR, nothing is ever accurate, those guys play by a different playbook, their Facebook page said “sometime very soon” so the best we can do is wait it out.

Any updates???

I have called numerous times to undergrad administration and they all state they do not have a date when the waitlisted students wll be notified if they are accepted or declined admissions. Does anyone know if this is the only UC school that hasn’t notified their waitlisted student? Is there a deadline date UCR has to notify the students?

Well I finally can accept/decline my financial aid awards, got the email today, so I’m hoping thats a sign of a good thing.

I didn’t get an email :frowning: Where did you go check?

I got my financial info long time ago. I’m still on the waiting list though.

Essence: Go to growl, and under financial aid its under award status. If you can’t get into growl, go to My Profile -> Personal information, and on the right hand side theres a link straight to growl. Thats how I used to access it before I got my growl info when I signed up for summer school.
Igothack: So did I, but I wasn’t able to accept it before, I can accept it now.

Yea. I was able to accept it a while back.

The wait may soon finally be over. I just got off the phone with undergraduate admissions and they said that Waitlist decisions have been made and that they should be posted on MyUcr tomorrow morning.

NDD101: Tomorrow as in Saturday?

Thats what a lady at admissions told me, yep.
