No USC Mail =[

I feel kind of petty posting this but I figured Id just ask

Has any accepted USC bound student received any type of "congrats" mail from USC? All of my friends headed to other schools have gotten a package with random paraphernalia like posters and bumper stickers ( a couple of them even got shirts 0.0) and I was wondering if/why USC was not doing this. I just found it odd that USC has the most pride out of any institution I know of yet, they choose not to send stuff like that to enrolling students. I just figured that I was going to be paying tuition for the rest of my life ( damn its expensive) that the least they could do is send me some “congrats” mail like everyone else XD.

You get those sort of items during orientation, actually. The t-shirts cost money though!

My S, accepted in the School of Architecture, got a beautiful coffee-table book, a book of cool projects from previous students, posters, special invitations, personal letters, and more. He feels very appreciated :)

A couple of weeks ago I got this really nice photo book that had stories and pictures of many current students, but I think everyone might have gotten that? Not sure. Either way, I hadn’t committed to USC when I got that book so I haven’t received anything official from them after accepting their offer.

I did sign up for orientation, though, and you get to order a Spirit bag and a T-shirt (that cost money). My guess is that they’ll give us a bunch of stuff when we go there for orientation.

What exactly is in that spirit bag or whatever? I opted not to get one, but is there a chance that I still could order one before orientation?

i didnt order a spirit bag, but my RA gave everyone one anyways. its just a bag with expired coupons, a tiny hand sanitizer bottle, a little towel, and thats about it… nothing to get excited over haha.

According to https://sait.usc.edu/ca/spiritbox/spirit_box.asp,
