<p>I feel I understand going into the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. What it might involve.</p>

<p>I do not understand what is available by going into NOAA. Jobs, Pay, time at sea, etc?</p>

<p>If someone could fill in the blanks, or give me websites to find more information it would be appreciated.</p>

<p>I hope to see and meet some of you at INDOC when I bring my son to Kings Point.</p>

<p>you can do anything ranging from weather to underwater research, so i would imagine their would be time at sea for some of the careers listed on noaa's website. simplyhired.com says that the average salary for a NOAA employee is $59,000. hope this helps!</p>
