NOLA Experience/Move In Dates

<p>I know this is incredibly early to be thinking about this, but my husband has to put in his vacation picks for next year so I am looking ahead, trying to plan. </p>

<p>ASSUMING son gets accepted for NOLA Experience he will have to be in NOLA for 8/18 (Projected looking at last years dates)</p>

<p>Otherwise he would have to be there on 8/23 for Move In.</p>

<p>Do those dates look correct? </p>

<p>We will most likely be driving him down. Hubs and I will enjoy the week before Move In relaxing in NOLA. Help him Move In and probably leave for Home on Sunday the 24th or Monday the 25. I have to be at work for Wednesday the 27th because I teach a class that starts on that day. From previous experience is staying through Sunday the 24th a good idea? Might we need that day for running to stores to pick up incidentals?</p>

<p>Your dates appear to be correct. I think that is a great idea for you to spend the week in NOLA if/while he is off doing his thing with Tulane. As far as leaving on Sunday, I don’t see a problem with that. If, after you move him in, you find that you need a WalMart/Target/Office Max/wherever run, you should have time to do that between getting him unpacked and when he has to be there for Convocation. Most likely you won’t have to, or if it is really small stuff there are stores in the area he can find for himself, like Walgreens. Also Tulane runs shuttles to WalMart and the malls, so he can do that on his own as well.</p>
