Has anyone heard yet if they have been accepted to the Nola Orientation Experience. We are quite anxious to find out so we can finalize our airfare. The website said we would hear by the 19th?

We have not heard anything yet about the NOLA Experience. My son leaves for his camp job on Thursday so I do hope we know before he goes!!

My son is also waiting to hear. Anyone out there hear already

Just heard back from Tulane Orientation. Wanted to make sure they had actually received my son’s application.

We should hear from Orientation by tomorrow evening 6/19/13 via our student’s email regarding their acceptance.

Good luck to all!!

fyi, the emails have been sent to those who got into NOLA Exp. I do not know if they have been sent to all who applied.

My D received her acceptance email today. She is thrilled. May not have been her first choice, but she is excited to explore the city and be able to connect and make friends with the students attending. She got the Health, Hedonism and Humidity track.

My son for his. He’s in!!!

GOOD NEWS!!! S got into the NOLA experience - 21st century leadership. He is busting…so happy! He just heard tonight…

My D also got the 21st Century Leadership! She’s so excited!! I’ll be sure to remind her to look up your son (Bloomy). She will be amused as I refer to CC as my " Tulane gossip site". I’m always asking her about stuff that I learn from you guys!!

My daughter also got into 21st century leadership… I guess at least 3 cc kids in the same group

Health, Hedonism and Humanity…looks like I’m saying goodbye a little early. I’m so thrilled for my son. I was able to contact him via facebook and he is very excited. Now to pick a picture of him for the Freshman directory.

My daughter’s in. The email says she is supposed to be there on Sunday August 19 but the 19th is a Monday. So, any idea which day is the right one?

That’s a good point, it does say Sunday August 19, 2012. I read it as Monday 8/19/2013 and that is when my D’s flight is… I thought I read on the web link that it runs from Monday night to Friday night. My D is in “Local Eats” and thrilled.

Congratulations to everyone selected. My extremely happy daughter will be in the “Street, Stage and Screen: Performing in New Orleans” track.

Wow - looks like CC has a great track record w/NOLA this year! Kids fly in on the Monday but it looks like activities officially start on the Tues according to the web site. It also said that you can send down 2 packages early so they can move into their room - the rest when it is the official move in day on the 24th.

I would add that my son’s NOLA Experience activity is (and I’m not kidding) named “Down and Dirty”. From the site’s description, it sounds like a camping trip. Fun!

My son is in the 21st Century Leadership track too!

D2 in Take a Bite and anxious to start eating and cooking in NOLA!

Ah, that’s great for all of you! Only 2 months away!

My son also got Take a Bite! Glad he will learn to be our official culinary guide to New Orleans!
