Hello all. I am new to this board. For an introduction, I have an LOA to USMA but have not yet recieved a nomination.

A few of you have said that you have recieved a nomination already (to those of you, congratulations!)

I believe it would be a good idea to post which states and congressional districts have already selected their nominees and which states/districs have not.

So for those of you who have recieved a nomination, if you could please note from whom you recieved your nomination, I believe it would be beneficial to everyone here on this board.

I received an LOA, and have a nomination from Congressmen Gutknecht (MN). I haven't received the appointment yet, but I'm really hoping it comes soon! I can't wait!

Welcome aboard! We look forward to hearing more from you regarding appointments.

Congratulations to all who have received their nominations. Don't fret too much over the holidays as there will likely not be any review board meetings for a couple weeks. And, yes, all of us who went through this last year know exactly how tough the waiting is. I'd recommend staring at the mailbox, but it really didn't seem to help much. :)

Congressman Gillmor, OH-5
Ohio's Senators office is supposed to tell us by early next month if we got a nomination or not...ugh, this waiting is killing me.

The vast majority of nominations have been received within the past few weeks. That could easily be 5000+ nominations with quite a bit of administrative work involved. And you may have received notification before it was sent to USMA. If you received the nomination, it will show up. You may also send an e-mail to Admissions requesting information via your CIS.

The waiting is so frustrating, but I promise this will not be the toughest thing you go through at West Point. ;)
