My son asked me to fill out the non-custodial profile by Jan 1st, but it seems like he made a mistake during the registration and registered me and his mom as married on the profile form.
As a result, I don’t exist in the system and cannot fill the form. What should I do?
I heard that if the colleges don’t get my info, my son will not receive any aid.

This part is absolutely correct, if you do not fill out your part as the non-custodial parent his financial aid application will be incomplete and he will get no institutional aid.

your ex will have to print out the profile make the manual changes and send it to all of the schools on your son’s list who require the profile.
You will both be receive information to submit your information (taxes, W-2, etc) through the IDOC or however each school wants you to submit the information.
Another thing to check…make sure your son didn’t include your income on the Profile.
