Non-HYP Ivies

“i would even take Penn over HYPSM”

lol

Brown.

how could you say someone wouldn’t take their education seriously if they went to an ivy league school? you can’t make that generalization about Brown.

Cornell

I loved Brown on paper but absolutely hated it in person.

what’s so funny about that?

Cornell without a doubt.

Harvard and Yale for law school but thats it.

Brown or Columbia. Weird I know.

Brown and I have this affair going on, so<3.

Penn no doubt

Besides Wharton or any of Penn’s special programs, Dartmouth without a doubt.

Cornell

I just love the breadth of majors and course offerings and Ithaca is a small, intellectual oasis

None. If I had a free pass to attend any lower-tiered Ivy League, I would auction it on Ebay for a ****load of money (advertising it on CC forums, of course), use it to buy a house and a Lamborghini, get my degree at BC, and invest the rest of my money in stocks while working.

If it’s unsellable, Cornell.

Definitely Brown. Or Columbia…but Probably Brown.

This question is sort of interesting. I remember being IN LOVE with Brown as a senior, and after being Waitlisted I didn’t get in, but I did get into Columbia. On the other hand a good friend got into Dartmouth and Brown but not Columbia. I would have traded with him in a nanosecond. Luckily transfer admissions exist!

Cornell for BME definitely… I have no chance though haha

Brown even if I got into HYP.

I really don’t want to attend a liberal arts college. Less field research and more book work. Either UPenn or Columbia for me

just to tally so far (counting only first place votes – i.e. not counting second places votes – only when there was a specific answer such as “X or Y” were both schools counted)

Penn - 10
Brown - 8
Dartmouth - 7
Cornell - 6
Columbia - 3

Dartmouth followed by Cornell

Wow - I’m surprised by the lack of Columbia answers, considering that Columbia is the most selective Ivy after HYP.

selective =/= good

count me for Penn, I guess
