Wisconsin has a Top 10 dept in every one of those majors. Including geography.

You gotta go with the bigger universities if you're that undecided about a major. Wisconsin is an incredible place--very underrated.

PSU-I think it has the best geography program in the country.

Thanks guys, but which Wisconsin are you talking about, exactly?

Ray, the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Berkeley offers geography as a major and kicks but in all areas.

ps. "Ivy-type" is such a bs category. Let's admire quality and what not, but all stop worshiping the Ivy league.

Many schools are very strong in those areas.

Carnegie Mellon University
Johns Hopkins University
New York University
Northwestern University
University of California-Berkeley
University of California-Los Angeles
University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign
University of Maryland-College Park
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill
University of Texas-Austin
University of Virginia
University of Wisconsin-Madison

UCB and UCLA.

he said non-ivy type schools, so i guess that rules out all the ivies :D come to Northwestern!

UT-Dallas has a great Computer Science program and awesome job opportunities. They also give nice merit scholarships (they offered me full tuition and a $3,000 housing allowance...and encouraged me to apply for a full-paid study abroad program...and I didn't even apply).

I don't know if Texas is right for you, but if you do decide on CS I'd definitely do UT-Dallas over UT-Austin.

katho, did you have insane stats or something?

I wouldn't call my stats insane or anything. A lot of schools offered me stuff because I made the Texas All-State band as a Freshman and Senior. I got three full tuition offers because of the music thing...and they may have possibly gotten hold of my test scores as well. I don't see how they could have seen anything else...possibly the NFL debate stuff but not likely.

^^ Meaning: yes, you did have wonderful stats. :P
