My mom just got divorced and she doesn't work so she doesn't have any income. Therefore, in financial aid, I used her as the noncustodial parent. My college require noncustodial parent to submit tax returns for CSS profile. I asked my college and they said that she can submit a "no tax filler" form from the IRS. How do you get that form and what exactly do you do?

Just check the IRS website to find it.

If you llive with your mother more than your father, she would be the custodial parent, and it might be more beneficial that way if she has less income than your father, pariticularly for FAFSA purposes.
