<p>im guessing this will be one of the years where they dont accept anyone…
what are your guys plans? for me, one year, or a semester if i can do it, at uga, and then try and get a transfer</p>

<p>sad i couldnt get into my dream school, as an instate my only choices were really uga and tech, due to financials (didnt do well enough academically to get full rides and stuff to other colleges).
just wished I could have been one of those numbers…fudge.</p>

<p>There may be some dropouts once they get accepted to THEIR waitlisted colleges. I am not sure what was the number last year on May 1st and then on May 15th. They did call about 300 from the waitlist last year.</p>

<p>I would really like to know the numbers from last year, is there anyway that GT is going to officially announce that they are taking students from the waitlist, via email or some board?</p>

<p>@jackhoofin: I suggest you call directly to Tech’s undergraduate admission office. Don’t email, call !! That’s the fastest way =)</p>

everyschool admits at least twice their class size, only half of students accept the offer.
their official cap is 2650 on their admissions site.</p>

<p>I understand how you feel, being on wait-list sucks so badly. I’m wait-listed at Hopkins and still haven’t heard anything yet =.="</p>

<p>Don’t give up hopes, I suppose once some ppl receive offers from their wait-list schools they might drop out. And Tech could possibly be contacting you then =)</p>

<p>@jackhoofin: As you can see on page 5, your odds are better of a guy not being retained, rather than a woman. The women have done significantly better at Tech than they guys for years (always?).</p>
