<p>@myyalieboy around 1200 people are named semifinalists, while about 10 people have posted on here. The scholarship is not too competitive until past semifinalist. That’s how. </p>

<p>@music202 Last year thread says that the results came out at around 11:30 EST, so I would safely assume that it will come out before noon in your area. </p>
<p>I’m from OH. My GPA is relatively low-ish compared to others who applied, but my essays were pretty strong and explained the reasonings for the low GPA and why my GPA is slowly rising. I hope to become a semi-finalist!</p>
