Ok currently my winter 2011 schedule is set up so that my engin100 class on north ends at 10am and then my physics 140 class starts at 10am. Do you guys think it is a bad idea or is it possible to pull it off without screwing myself over? has anyone done it?

I think it is a bad idea

This past semester I had Math –> Engr 101 with a 30 minute window to get up to North Campus. The fastest that I ever made it from Dennison to Pierpont was ~12 minutes. Depending on where your 100 section meets (FXB or EPB vs. Pierpont) would also make a big difference. Especially if your section does not meet near Pierpont, I would highly recommend trying to find a new schedule.

ya, ain’t gonna happen buddy you gotta move some stuff around

is it really that bad?

omg I want to take the underwater vehicle thing so bad :(

Well, time yourself how long it takes to go from your eng class to your physics class and you will see

get into another physics then, but you’ll be late to physics every day

^dude dumb idea. Physics has qwizdom. When I took it they sometime do it at the beginning of class. Just leave Eng100 early every day…not a big deal.

I have had semesters where I overrode time conflicts on wolverineaccess and have 3 engineering classes going on at the same time. You just need to stay on top of class materials.

but what if my eng100 section is where the prof knows you and everyone else and its really obvious that you just left 10 min early…

hmm… get in another physics then

I cant do that either without dropping my econ with malone, all the other profs suck ughhh TT i have to change my engin100 now…omg

i dont think ur engin 100 is going to be that small. there are like what, 100 some kinds in your section alone? leaving 5 min early is not a big deal

^oh really??

do you guys know if leaving the lecture sections 10 min early is bad? I mean you just need to show up at the lab/discussion section for the whole time right?

It really depends on the section. I’m not familiar with underwater vehicles, but if the lecture section is in a classroom, the professors will definitely notice you leaving 10 minutes early every lecture.

so what if he notices? participation is probably not part of ur grade

I don’t mean to hijack your thread but what about Lorch to MLB?

Dude, the simple fact is this, it is impossible to get from North to Central in ten minutes. That is why they recomend you not putting North and Central classes back to back.

Also, as far as your schedule goes, do you really think you are the only one that has had to change around their schedule? Most people do not get the schedule they were hoping for and they have to compromise. And to change all this around just to get a certain teacher, in econ, just man up and have a different one.
