North Texas Drama Auditions?

Can anyone help me on selecting what my DD should showcase in her 90 seconds? The instructions online say if they are singing college reps want two contrasting 16 bar songs but given that she's auditioning for MT does she do a song and a short monologue instead of two songs? Anyone had experience attending?

How about my two cents. We’ve gone to these for the past few years. I don’t know enough about every school there, but I do know several. And all of us use the 90 seconds to determine who to call back, and invite to a longer audition. I would find it hard to invite someone into a program based solely on these auditions. Likely there is a school or two who do it, but more likely you’ll get a callback alone. S0, do your best 90 seconds and one song is fine.

My D attended these several years ago. She did a song and a monologue. She did receive a couple of offers just from these auditions, but in most cases she received an actual callback or some indication from a school that they would like to see her again at their on campus auditions.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!
