Northeastern Fall 2013 Transfer Page

In my applicant link, there is no mid-term report

Do i still need to send my mid-year report to NEU?

Congratulations :)

What were your stats?
I’m applying to the Business school.
Had a 3.0 first sem and 3.4 for Midterms
Not sure if that’s good enough. The site says 3.3 is the avg for accepted students.

i am applying for business school too
3.46 with ESL class
3.3x without ESL class
hope to see you in business school @Fall 2013

Thanks dude
You too.

@MyChemicalLoofa: aww congrats! hopefully my sister will hear same good news :)

By the way - I was never sent an email. I just checked the portal and my decision was there :)

@MyChemicalLoofa: what were your stats if you don’t mind me asking?

Look at post #77.

@bostonbruins1: thanks!

Just kidding, just received my decision email

Aaaaaaaand still waiting D:

but the dates and names of documents on my portal have been updated every other day for the past week… so someone is looking at it at least.

I just want a yes or a no so I can move the hell on. I’m so mad about their screw up, but only because they told me I would have a decision 2 weeks ago, and now I’m looking at 2nd week of April or later.

Same here Gregory. My application has been in since March 1st and I called admissions yesterday and they had informed me that I wouldn’t get a decision for another 2-4 weeks. I’m anxious to know already!

My recommendation letter date changed because they got the second one I sent. I called saying I sent out my midterm grades last week and they said once we get that you will know your decision in two weeks…I hope they are right.

Heh… I had everything submitted by mid-january. Then I called for a month before they told me my recommendation letter was missing.

Then they told me everything good to go, i should get a decision mid march.

Then a month of weekly calls later I’m told “Oh actually we’re missing another thing, also it’ll be another 4-6 weeks after it gets here.” (which by the way, processing time means add 1-2 weeks on top of that 4-6 weeks, so we’re looking at a May decision)

sparing some details here because it’s sensitive, but it was bad enough that I had to send some nasty-grams to the administrators.

I’m just so sick of waiting.

Congratulations to those who have received their acceptance letters! I envy you all!

My documents have all been in since the beginning of March. Most in Feb, but they needed another recommendation letter from me, annoying.

I suspect everyone should for sure have their decision by the end of April at the rate it seems to be going… :/

Forgot to ask… sorry if someone mentioned this already, but does anyone know how soon we have to let them know our decision once we’ve received our acceptance (hopefully).

I’m applying to the business school, not sure if that makes a difference.

You’re probably best off calling them admissions department. They’re pretty quick about getting someone on the line.

I can’t find that info anywhere online.

i’ve read that transfers applying in past years had theirs due on may 1st, but many were able to get an extension on that. but i agree with gregory; calling the admissions department is probably your safest bet

yea I’ll probably do that. I just wanted to get a sense for how long I have since I’ve never been to Boston and I’m in california. Thanks for your input

Does the Application Status webpage change once all of the documents are received?
