is this program any good? it seems to have low standards. i mean a 1273 is pretty low for a ba/md program.

yeah i visited them last month. i don't think it's that hard to get into unless you're out of state. but they said the primary goal was to get more primary care physicians in the state of ohio, so they're not that research oriented.

oh yeah i'm not sure how good they are though, but i'm assuming that they're not that that great.

does anyone know anyone who attends that program? what did they say?

One of my uncles thinks it's half a joke, so I don't know 100%

if your out of state, dont waste your time on the application, they reserve liek 1 or 2 spots at most for OOS.

Actually, despite the low standards they present on their website, the program is viewed very highly in Ohio. Out of state students need not apply because the purpose of it is to get doctors in Ohio and they only accept 2 OOS students. Students who attend the program have good chances at getting residency at some of the best hospitals in the nation. Cleveland and its surrounding areas is a great area for hospital work. The Cleveland Clinic, University Hospital are some of the top hospitals in the nation. A bunch of people I know attend it and it is no joke. They enjoy it but it is a serious program. You spend 15 months straight in school with very little or no break. Then another 12 months before going off to medical school.
