Does Northeastern give a leg-up to legacies? Thanks.
According to the Common Data Set, Northeastern does not consider legacy as a hook.
If you check the legacy box on the Common App your parents receive a letter informing them of how much more competitive admission is today compared to 25 years ago.

According to the common data set they relation with alumnus is considered, I don’t know if that means legacy though.

So it looks like they recently changed their legacy consideration policy. Interesting.
Maybe with the increased competition? From what I understand, it’s a very different school now than it would have been when an applicant’s parents attended. Correct me if I’m wrong.
