Hey guys,
I applied to Northeastern for Spring 2019, and because I haven’t seen any other threads about transferring for the Spring 2019 semester, I thought I’d make one myself.
I’d love to know your guys’ stats, and your take on the admissions process.
I’ll get the ball rolling.
Stats:
GPA: 3.94
Major: BioChem
Number of Units: 75
Pre-reqs: Completed
Location: California
They told me that they expect all decisions to be released by December 1st.
Hey @BBoy99
I just submitted my application as well. Glad you started this thread! I’m a computer science major, currently attending the first semester of my second year.
@dhakaboston23 I would caution that while all those schools may be in Boston they are very different in fit. Many of those are also not places I would be applying for CS, particularly Bentley which does not offer a CS degree at all.
@dhakaboston23 I’m applying to Brown (although I doubt I’ll get in lol), BU and Tufts. I’m also applying to schools on the West Coast (USC, UCLA, Berkeley etc) and Vanderbilt, which is my first choice.
hey guys, do you mind sharing your stats? I have a 3.87 so far at Fordham University at their Gabelli School of Business. I had about a 3.3 UW, 3.5 W in high school with a 1500/1600 SAT and 7/5/8 on the essay. I’m applying for the D’Amore-McKim School of Business and I really hope I get in
Just logged in to the portal and saw that I got accepted but haven’t received any email notification so I’d suggest everyone go check if you haven’t yet today.
I was told that financial aid comes with your acceptance letter which is something that will be sent out soon. What’s on the application portal is just the acceptance decision. Financial aid forms are also processed separately from the admissions committee so they may not have been reviewed yet.
If anyone who is also an anxious goose like me and needs to look at stats here is mine:
