Northeastern vs. Fordham

I have to make a down payment to one of the schools just in case I don't get accepted from the wait list of Emory or NYU. I'm just wondering which one is better. I know, based on rankings, that NEU has a better business school, but overall, Fordham as a university is ranked higher than NEU. I got about the same amount of money from each school in scholarships. I have until May 1 to make a decision, but I'm really not sure which school to choose. I'm looking to study business. I guess the deciding factor would most likely be their reputation in the job world, location, etc., but which one do you think is better for business and why?

(What I don't get about the BusinessWeek rankings is how Fordham dropped 15 spots over the course of one year.)

I posted this in the Northeastern forum as well.

Hmm if you’re looking at location, NEU’s nicer than the Bronx

But which one do you think is better for business and why?

To me the major difference is that Northeaster has a 5 year coop program and Fordham is a traditional 4 year program. Personally I’m not a fan of the coop, but it is a personal thing.

My dad isn’t either. He would rather have me studying for four years straight than studying in small intervals of time. But I see the Co-op program as a chance to explore the business world and see what I like. It also will most likely help me land a job in the future.
