That’s not how it works. If there were a 50/50 gender split for both applicants and accepted people, the rate would still be 7% for boys

Yup, it says on the admissions portal at the end of the first paragraph: “We anticipate releasing admission decisions for Regular Decision candidates on March 26th.”

Cannot believe it’s in two weeks. Idk about everyone else but this is gonna be my first Regular decision. Feels like I’ve been waiting for so long and it’s coming now

Kind of a silly question but did anyone get an email from them saying they’ll release on the 26th or did we all just find out through their insta? Most schools send an email saying when they’ll release so I was surprised that Northwestern didn’t.

Do you know how competitive the program is? The website says that they only accept 100ish people a year :0
I don’t know specific numbers but extremely competitive. It’s consistently ranked as the No. 1 journalism program in the country. It’s a reach for my daughter. Thankfully, she has been accepted to other programs she is happy with. Good luck!
