Northwestern 2025!

CAn you guys please cahnce me. I freaking out.
I’m an international student studying the A-Level curriculum.
→ I have a 4.0/4.0 UW GPA
→ I come #35 out of 950 (maybe 1200 students- not too sure due to recent expansion) students at my high school
→ SAT got a 1360. (haven’t submitted)
→ Predicted 3A* at A-Level (Mathematics, Econ, Business)
→ Wasn’t allowed to partake in extracurriculars due to some reasons but tried my best to pursue those things which I’m interested in. I know they are extremely unorthodox and probably have no weightage in the eyes of the admissions officers.

Started my own Charity (Unofficial- Doesn’t have a name and isn’t registered yet)
Became a self-taught forex and stocks trader and also teach trading- to help my father financially and to pay for the charity.
took care of my grandparents on a regular basis.
tutored my younger cousin
was the captain of 3 business competitions
Am an unofficial fitness trainer and nutritionist
Am a micro Instagram influencer- make my own content/earn some money too.
Miscellaneous activities/hobbies- participated in a couple of badminton tournaments at my club, frequently paint/draw, etc
→ I also faced certain extenuating circumstances because of which I got mediocre O-Level results and because of which I was also not allowed to participate in ECAs.
→ financial aid needed

Guess we’ll see in 9 days , not like anyone here can accurately predict it that well.

I thought a previously admitted candidate might have some info. Or perhaps someone could just make a guess compared to what information they already know? I personally think my chances are close to 0. probably a 0.001% chance.

Sorry wrong forum!

There were about 130k applications for UCLA this year. How many for Northwestern? Does Anyone know?

There were 168k for UCLA

Are you sure? For months people have been saying 130k for UCLA.

168k includes transfers.

$70 application fee x 168,000 applications = $11,760,000!!

I’m sure there were a lot of fee waivers but still it’s a huge amount. The UC application makes it very easy to apply to a number of schools with just 1 app.

Yes, we got the waiver.

Waiver from NU or UCLA?

Sorry for confusion. Fees were waived for NU and many other colleges (saved about total $550). Did not apply for UCLA.

Hay guys, I am new on the Northwestern forum. Does anyone know the acceptance rate for CS for an international student?? Also, any idea what time is the decision supposed to come out on the 26th??

I’m an international applicant and applied for financial aid. I didn’t receive interview or IDOC request, is it a bad sign?

I am not sure if you can file IDOC.

Have you guys received emails about NU’s residence halls in the end of February and early March?
