I got deferred!! Happy because I was expecting to be rejected, but slightly disappointed because now I have to stress about it until April…I don’t know much about the deferral process; does anyone know how good my chances of getting accepted are after being deferred?
Seriously?! Disappointed?! At least you have a chance of going. 34 ACT, 3.9 GPA. Denied.
Just curious - did anyone actually receive an email from NU about the update?
@pegagogy no I haven’t received any email about the update
Congrats y’all! Excited to be a part of the Class of 2022! Does anyone know if there’s an official Facebook group or anything?
Accepted…In shock…very very happy. McCormick for Biomedical!
ACT: 36
GPA: 3.5
Anyone know when financial aid comes out?
double legacy deferred GPA and SAT just slightly lower than avg accepted for the high school last 3 years
Accepted!! my instagram is camillegmendoza and my snapchat is camillegmendoz
My stats were a 4.16 GPA and a 31 ACT… I applied to the school of communications
I got deferred too!!! Honestly not even sad, I am so happy that they are still considering me and I still have a chance of getting in
^Me too! I was so prepared for rejection I’m so happy I’m still in the running! Looking forward to the rest of the application process! Northwestern tends to be a school that only defers applicants that they’d still seriously consider. Go wildcats! :bz
I heard or read in this thread that about 80 get deferred.
Congrats to all that made it. For those who didn’t, there’s a school for you out there that’s meant to be.
Reject here but Loyola here I come.
@notasheep Wait really? 80? Holy that makes me feel so much better about being deferred. Where did you get those stats?
Denied. 1520 SAT, 5.1 weighted GPA, 9 APs, founded a club and charity and was secretary/president for 4 other clubs, captain of sports teams, etc etc. Don’t know what else I could have done but I’m crushed. Congrats to the few that got in. Have fun living out the rest of us’ dreams at the best school in the world:)
No lol
