Northwestern HPME Part 2

I was so excited to see a letter from HPME on the counter just now!!!

unfortunately it is the dreaded letter of rejectance [sic]. lol.

I kinda expected it... I don't have a 4.0 and a 2400 and a 36. Oh well, now more waiting. lol. I'd rather a rejection than more waiting.

Did anyone else hear anything from HPME after Jan 30th?

What's the time line for HPME application decisions?

Got my HPME interview e-mail just now!!!! I might actually have a chance! Congrats to all those who have gotten invites/interviewed and good luck to all those who applied!

Shwincity117: congrats to u!!!
when did you send in ur apps and where do you live(geographically)?

also, at what time did u get ur interview e-mail?

Yeah, just opened my HPME letter. I was rejected, but, not too surprised, just kinda disappointed. Oh well, my life's not over.
:)

I postmarked my apps on Dec. 31st haha. I live actually surprisingly in a suburban area in Kentucky so maybe that helps me. I got my e-mail at like 12:30 P.M.

I still haven't heard anything from HPME.
Do I still have a chance for an interview :/?

I received an interview invitation today!

CzechMateKJ, when is your interview?

I got the invitation yesterday. We're the last wave because next week is the last week for interviews. Who's all going next week and which days?

For those who have interviewed, what did you guys wear? A formal matching suit, or would a nice shirt and pants work?

Had my interview today with two other guys. I wore a suit, but I'm sure a nice shirt and pants are fine. The interviews are really relaxed and chill, no medical school panel style. Just one-one's with a faculty, Dr. Green, a 4th year med student, and a lunch with two second years. I actually became good friends with the other guys interviewing there. If anyone wants to know anything about the experience or what to expect, feel free to shoot me a PM.

My interview is next Friday. Would a pencil skirt and a blouse be fine?

"I wore a suit, but I'm sure a nice shirt and pants are fine",
Most Dr. wear suit in Northwestern Hospital, so do you. Dr. Green would like to see a mature high school Kid to join HPME.

Has anyone who had their interview already been notified of rejection or acceptance? I had my interview about 3 weeks ago, with like 15 other people, and was wondering when I'll know whats up lol.

It should come with your Northwestern letter.

It was an e-mail before, and before Northwestern letter.

Oh...well I'm not sure then. That's what they said at my interview.

From what I remember, it was an e-mail.

Any word on when the HPME decisions come? Can any current HPME students chime in as to whether it comes with the RD letter?
