DAMN... im seriously *ed right now... u got your stuff and u sent it in after mines.. .!!!

idunno i live in illinois if that matters at all

what did you get... an email or a letter?

i got an email

oh man. if they sent out all the emails at once, i'm worried. if they're sending them out in waves, not so much.

allow me to reiterate: i called the HPME office a few days ago in order to find out about interviews. the lady who answered told me that interviews went out on a rolling basis from the january to mid-february and not to panic... she said that most of the applications had not been reviewed as of yet. again: it is rolling, not mass email.

there are 3 interview dates in jaunary with 8 students on each day

Are those the only interview dates? Or that's just for January I'm hoping...

only for january, of course

i thought they sent like 130 interviews? cuz now it seems like they will send like 50...if february is the same as january.

by february they will have had time to read more apps and schedule more interviews

hi again everybody. hope everything is going well and that the waiting isn't unbearable. I'd just like to encourage everyone who gets an interview to take advantage of the opportunity to spend a night on campus and live with a student in the dorms. I did it when I applied to HPME and it really helped me get a feel for the campus. Look forward to seeing you guys!

Just wondering, how strict is HPME on the Jan1 postmark deadline? Would, for example, a postmark of Jan2 mean they would disregard the application, or what?

you should call them cocacola to make sure theyve received it.

is anyone applying for the ISP program? I've heard that it is extremely rigorous and challenging and is not helpful to pre-meds but idk it seems like a nice curriculum. And can you apply to ISP and HPME at the same time?

never mind you can apply to hpme and isp at the same time but it is discouraged

So... whose in my position... handed my stuff in dec 15... all of it!!! and still havent heard anything yet! i really want a interview letter... this is some BS because some people who handed thier stuff in after got one already!!!

why would you want to do isp at the same time as hpme? the point of hpme is just to relax for 3 years and have fun, not do some integrated science bs.

and lowriders, just wait.

Why not just do ISP, MENU, MMSS, Kellogg Cert and HPME? That way, you might have a better perspective when life greets you with that proverbial fork in the road.

And how 'bout those Wildcats?
Northwestern 74, Minnesota 65

Actually, one of the major benefits of HPME is that it allows one to pursue something interesting yet challenging without the fear of getting a lower GPA. The point of HPME isn't to let you party and waste your college education. If you are applying for HPME, you may want to hide your attitude from the adcom!!
