Just wondering…what is the slot interview, and how do I know if that is the one I am doing? I would MUCH prefer the Starbucks interview. I just signed up online through the interview website, but didn’t get any details other than an address, directions, and the interview time.

I had signed up online too but the only date they had was a date i was going to be out of town so supposedly they are going to try and have an alumni meet me on a different date?

hope that helps somewhat. I dont know if that’s how it was for everyone on here who has had it at a diff place though

Just curious - I live in New York City and I signed up through the interview site and there were only like 10 slots available. I signed up for one, but I’m just wondering if this is going to be a group interview? Or are they only interviewing like 10 people in NYC, because that would be odd…

I had my interview recently. I came out thinking it went really well but in the days since doubt has kicked in in high-gear. I’m not sure if I made a personal connection with my interviewer. She did compliment me on my knowledge of NU and I asked a few questions that she answered in great detail. However, she ended off by saying I was an accomplished candidate but didn’t mention NU as a great place for me. =/
Should I be concerned?

Getting accepted into a college that fits you individually is the culmination of many years of effort - so I understand that there is stress in not blowing it at the end.

But there is no reason to add unneccessary stress. NU admissions is very clear in saying that interviews are not considered an important part of your application. If you want to stress… stress about more important things like your “Why NU?” supplemental which is due in a couple of days for those of you taking some extra time to get it right. Other than that you should just sit back and wait for some exciting (and probably some dissappointing) decision emails and letters coming in a few months.

would it be bad if I scheduled for an interview after the deadline to schedule an interview? I didn’t before because my dad basically ruled NU out as an option for me…but now I think he’s changing his mind.
