Northwestern, previously admitted...

Can anyone weigh-in on chances for transfer admission to Northwestern w/reactivated application?

*(S is currently traveling without access to wifi or phone, so I am putting this out there):

-S admitted to Theater program/major (100 maximum admitted), Fall 2012

-Opted for very small LAC for Fall of 2012, but:
-has realized that limitations of very small dept
-very limited diversity--economically, ethnically, etc
-difficult access to city/theater in burb community,
-realized he had academic/artistic interest in new aspect of theater while taking a theatrical analysis-type class at LAC

-He is taking term off (travel, consider options)

-Looking to "reactivate" (term used on Admissions site for pulling HS app) to use in applying for this Spring (2013), if possible, or Fall 2013.

-Not sure if he will apply Theater major (more acting, studio work) again or Performance Studies (more theory, analysis) major
*(anyone able to speak to this distinction as well as different chances for admission for each dept?)

Wonders about:
-Chances of admission
-If he can apply having a bit less than minimum 24 semester units, since he would be submitting reactivated app (previously admitted)?

Anyone able to help out there?
Thanks so much:)
~Plz advise if further info helpful

My guess, and it’s only a guess would be no. While his application is reactivated, he is still considered a transfer student and thus must have at least 24 units. Again, this is just my reading of what’s on their website, I urge you to call them and get the answer from the source.
