I also applied RD to McCormick for biomedical engineering… Part of me regrets not applying ED just to help my chances, but I keep reminding myself it will be good to have options. Are interviews just in the Chicago area? I applied Nov 14th, haven’t heard anything about interviews.
@CCwillendme I’m from Columbus and I have been contacted for an interview. I think it just depends on the availability of alumni in your area.
I’m from Portland, Maine, so it likely there aren’t any local alumni giving interviews. Good luck with yours!
does Northwestern have a portal?
No, only for decisions I’m pretty sure
Hi guys, I’m an applicant to Weinberg Arts & Sciences. Haven’t been contacted for an interview yet.
Like a previous poster mentioned, I think interviews depend on the alumni availability in your area. As I live around Columbus like another poster, I have been contacted about an interview. However, not having an interview does not impact your application.
Can legacy still affect RD applicants in any way?
I would think any connection would matter
How’s everyone’s winter going?
Oddly warm…
Unfortunately cold
50 degrees one day, 10 degrees the next…
hey guys! i’m an RD applicant from Greece and already had an interview. it was very interesting!
@neuromaniac that’s awesome! More snow for us here on the East! crazy!
no snow but it’s freezing here!!
So UChicago acceptances went out will be interested to see how many kids pull out of NW…hmmmmm
NW > Uchi
NU, people, not NW. BTW, UChi>>>!!!NU
There will be some. D17 will withdraw as soon as she is able to view her FA package on her Uchicago portal (in cyber-la-la-land for the time being, apparently). She can’t be the only one.
^ Lol no one says uchi is better than NU. Both great academics, but NU is fun while Uchi is nicknamed “where fun goes to die”
