<p>I say that is better than being overly generic</p>
<p>While it’s great to demonstrate that you’ve researched specifics of NU, I think it’s even better to show adcoms how YOU specifically will enhance the NU community. Remember that they already know all about the school, so it’s you they really want to get to know. Tell them a story that shows you belonging on campus in the context of specific attributes of the program, and I’d think they’re more likely to help you get there.</p>
