johnm, have you activated your email and everything yet?
[/quote]

Yeah, my email got set up fast. They gave me a good address too, so I'm happy with that.

I also got my credit evaluation in the mail... They transfered everything from my community college, which sort of surprised me. But since I'm an engineer, they still have to evaluate my math/science stuff internally at McCormick.

I guess I'll call Wednesday about Caeser... I'm curious to see what that's all about.

BTW, do any of you have access to the course management system? I think you can read teacher reviews and stuff... not sure though, since I can't log in.

i just go to ratemyprofessor.com lol...but i've found it to be not entirely accurate. i.e. a really, really difficult but AMAZING teacher at my former school had an extremely low rating because people complained about the work load. bleh. they don't take everything into consideration.

yeah i'm going into engineering too, and my credits transferred, but since they only went by the titles, my maths are all messed up. i plan on calling the eng advisor wednesday

ok so i think i have my 5 choices for housing:

2251 Sheridan

Foster-Walker Complex

Kemper
4, 5. Either Goodrich, Foster, or any o those other upperclassmen houses.

How about you guys? I'm not too sure I wanna stick w/ just upperclassmen housing, because freshmen are people too.

i may switch my 1st and 2nd choice....the only thing that makes me nervous about the transfer house is getting in w/ groups outside of the fellow transfers...though having something in common w/ everyone would be great....i dunno

Is anyone else still waiting? I noticed some of you had completed apps after mine and have already been accepted...I'm wondering if they send letters out in waves. When I got rejected as a freshman, they did that, so everyone who was accepted heard on the same day and then I heard the next day.

edit: that was online, though, I don't remember how they sent out the physical letters.

hmmm random...I'd call. they told me that everyone would hear at July 5th @ the very latest. they also said transfer decisions will not be posted online.

hmm...i haven't heard anything about that.....i know that there are a few info sessions for mccormick transfers during new student week though, maybe it will be discussed then....have you called yet about scheduling?

No, I haven't called about scheduling. I didn't think it was necessary. (From what I've read, I was thinking that we don't talk to advisors until new student week.) Have you talked to an advisor?

I guess I'll call tomorrow and try to figure everything out.

yeah i thought we waited too..but i've been reading some stuff and in that little green booklet that w/ got w/ the admissions packet it says to call and gives numbers for the diff schools

I'm a little confused on the AP end of things... when we got the transfer transcript, it mentioned that we should send our scores and they would consider them according to whatever formula they usually do, and that's fine with me. But I already submitted my scores for admission... Do I have to submit them all over again, or should I assume they still have them somewhere, and they'll just show up somewhere?
