The transfer acceptance rate is 12% so that 200 number is pretty accurate

@VaishS Because past 3 years transfer acceptance fluctuated between 12% to 10%. It didn’t seem like acceptance rate was going down every year necessarily, so I’m assuming NU will accept around 11% to 10% of applicants this year.
How good is NU with transfer credit? I ain’t trying to start back as a freshman.

@pearmetty They accepted most of my credits but I only had like basic intro classes!
For some classes they did ask me to send the syllabi tho
200 would put it at like 10.5 which is lower than I though idk tho

@somehmonggirl lurkers seems to get accepted because they only make accounts to say it you wouldn’t hear it otherwise :). I didn’t hear back today either which sucks but at the same time I think a lot of schools will release this week and northwestern is in the middle of the pack anyways…but still I’ll join that emotional abuse lawsuit this sucks
If you created a portal from the link people were posting you will not get the email with your decision so make sure you check the portal or whatever it was that was created
I wonder if there r disadvantages for people getting decisions later. I’d assume that if the transfer spots get filled up, students from later waves will not be able to secure a spot… well that’s not good for me

I’m wondering if it’s a good or bad thing that we haven’t heard back yet. Or if it simply means they haven’t reviewed our application yet.
On one hand, there’s a chance we’ve made it this far because they haven’t decided whether to accept or reject us. On the other hand it could mean nothing. Lol I have no idea what to think anymore.
At this rate, all my other schools will come out before NU. I thought I was gonna hear from NU first lol
