For the sophomore transfer people who have been accepted/plan on attending NU next year, do you guys want to make a group me?
Accepted rising soph, Econ, from pretty decent undergrad business school, top 50 school overall but on the lower end of that. 3.92, student council exec position, sorority member & member of competitive business club. Two really good letters of rec. rejected from northwestern in high school. Took gap year and explained how that changed my perspective on a lot of things in my essay.
TBH I was rlly unhappy at my current school last semester but by the time I heard back from northwestern I was actually a lot happier. I’m horrible at dealing with change as well. Not sure if I want to transfer anymore but still unhappy with certain things at my school and would feel dumb to turn this down. Still waiting on Georgetown which was always my top choice, though not leaps and bounds ahead of northwestern. Feeling very conflicted about what to do overall.

congratulations!! that definitely sounds like a hard choice but i think you’re right in saying it would be dumb to outright reject northwestern. i hope the decision gets a little easier after georgetown comes out! do you mind me asking when you received your decision also?

congrats! if you ask me, you should at least try northwestern or georgetown, money and such permitting. they’re great opportunities, and if you really don’t like them, you know that your current school isn’t a bad option to come back to

I didnt receive a decision yet and I applied Econ, do I have a good chance or nah. I mean why would they give acceptances this late the just wondering
I have no idea why they schedule transfers this late, but you do still have a chance. plenty of people get in at the last waves.
