Not a big problem...but still...

On the online application, I wrote in the Extracurricular Experiences section: "Please see additional info", and in the additional info section, I wrote that I was sending my essays, the extracurricular experiences section, and an additional resume by mail.

Of course, all of the boxes in the extracurricular experiences section were unchecked. I don't know if it is a system error, but when I went to print preview, some of the boxes were checked. I thought I had made a mistake, so I unchecked them, saved, and print previewed again -- and they were still there!

Hopefully this won't be too much of a problem?

These last minute Early Decision things xD

That happened to me too! I wrote that in the additional info and corrected it. Let me guess, LAST THREE!! Anyways, the thing screwed up with my moms name too- I wrote wrong info, saved, corrected, saved- but it didn't save right info.
I'm going to send a letter tomorrow saying that and including the corrections.

Another thing- the essays were all grouped together, no indents, or spaces between paragraphs like I had put- So I'm putting that in the letter too and sending copies of my essays.

I didn't bother writing the essays online -- I had to use italics and spanish punctuation points -- which I didn't think worked on every computer. So I'm just sending it by paper...tommorow since the post office closes so early...

It doesn't matter as long as it's post-marked by the 15th right?

Yeah it doesn't matter. Do you think its okay if I write in the letter, why I'm sending the essays via mail- even though I submitted them online too, and didn't say I was sending them via mail?

Honestly, you are all worrying about small details that truly will have zero impact on the way your application is reviewed. In almost every situation the online applications will process the information correctly and when our home system prints out the submitted application everything you entered will appear correctly. The online system is created for most individual systems, but at times the scripting will create errors with submitted information or the print preview screens.

If you feel there is an error, well then submit the correction in writing. We merge all your application records before they are reviewed so that will not be a problem.

Despite what you think, the minute you click submit does not mean your application is closed and begins being reviewed. Our Operations staff must download your application, process it, merge it with other received materials, place it in a folder, check for complete status, and then finally pass to the Admissions committee. In this time, we will get all the information we need (correctly!) and if not we will contact the applicant or the school.

Stop worrying so much.

Thank you!

Its just that I don't want anything to go wrong in the process and make sure the Admissions recieve everything, JHU is my top choice and I don't want to have a lesser chances because somethings that could've helped me is missing.

Anyways, another question..

My teachers sent out their recs, I know they put my name and birthdate on it- but they didn't put the school (they told me what they had put on it). Does it count if the address of the school and school name is on the envelope?

Name and birth date will be enough to match up records.
