Hi guys, I've been lurking on CC for a while now but I haven't posted anything before.

I was reading my JHU supplement essays after I submitted them and for my second essay, I found a really bad typo! I formatted the essay as a list with the number typed out ("One", "Two", etc.). The problem is that instead of it going "One", "Two", "Three", I accidentally typed "Three" instead of "Two", so the list goes "One", "Three", "Three". What makes it worse is that I made the numbers bold. I really should've noticed the mistake and I feel so embarrassed that I let it happen, but I was changing my essay around so much and copying and pasting all over the place that I just didn't catch it.

Should I fax/mail in a fixed essay or would it be not a really big deal? I'm pretty boarderline so I'm worried if this will affect my chances.

There’s than a week left until decisions. I’d say just wait until the 15th.

There’s a pretty good chance that admissions wont even notice it, since they apparently go through the application pretty quickly. It’s a minor mistake, even if they do catch it, they’ll understand the amount of pressure we are put under while writing these essays.

Don’t worry about it! You’ll be fine(:

Oh I forgot to mention that I’m applying RD so they probably haven’t read my application yet.

And thanks callmesarahhh! I feel like it shouldn’t be a huge deal but I’m still realllly crazy paranoid. Lol
