I am trying to waive out of SHIP for the Spring semester and use my own insurance, but it says "Your health insurance plan does not meet all of the necessary criteria in order for you to waive enrollment in the Student Health Insurance Plan."

Does it really matter if I didn't answer "yes" to all of the questions they asked in the waiver form?

Ok, every year, you should answer YES to every single question on the waiver form. Don’t even waste your time checking with the insurance company about your coverage. They’ll probably lie or be deceitful to you about it anyway. If you don’t say “yes” to everything on the waiver form, you will have to buy SHIP, and you can’t redo the waiver form.
