Not accepted anywhere yet ( should i be worried)

wait, what does "advance standing" mean b/c its on my uci page too but i go to boston univeristy. i thought it just meant that your not applying for freshman year.

advance standing basically mean junior status so most likley if you are a transfer student, have nothing to do with tap

nope. while i had a different major, i had a lower gpa and got into all the schools you're waiting on minus la & b. i didn't have tap either.

lilxlazyxboi
i know im TAP for sure since my college is 3.0 needed
and im honors counselor submitted the needed paperwork in February to UCLA, i know lots of schools are different some require 3.5 but my school is just 3.0

i too ahve recieved nothing.

applied to haas, ucla, irvine, davis

TAP with ucla. 3.58 gpa.

heard nothing from irvine or davis.

I haven't heard from any of the schools either, out of the 4 I applied to (UCLA, UCI, UCB, UCSD), but I'm an engineering major.

According to the UCLA website...

"Transfer Selection

The transfer selection review considers the following:

Academic Criteria

Junior-level standing (60 semester/90 quarter transferable units completed) by the end of the spring term before you transfer.
GPA of 3.20 or higher earned in transferable courses.
Progress towards completion of major preparation requirements by spring prior to transfer (see below)."

There is more but it looks like their minimum gpa is 3.2...
I think you will get into UCI though.

i'm freakin out!!!!

irvine has tap...

The minimum is not 3.2 at UCLA, just look at the profile of 2007 transfers and avg gpa through the list, you can spot at least like 4x GPA's below 3.2

You're referring to TAG not TAP. Big difference. G=guaranty. P=priority. Im pretty familiar with both programs as im from irvine and attended a local ccc.
