My son will not be attending the summer orientation, honestly, we live in NJ and its just not in the budget to fly down. They have the kids register for classes during orientation. He will have to register for classes in August with the transfer students, right before classes start. I was told by his admissions counselor that he would be assured classes just may not be the times he wants. Does anyone have any insight about this? Will he be able to get the classes he needs, or is he screwed and we should suck it up and send him. TIA!
Answering my own question: As per the Orientation coordinator, “equal opportunity to register for classes is given to all students no matter what day they register”. Big sigh of relief over here!
