<p>in my "admission documents sent" section, it writes "adms interview confirmation" though I did not actually have an interview. This system is crazy, blank lines, admission dates, theyre all lies,we'll just wait and see</p>
<p>None of the 16 students that applied from my school have received any notifications yet. Most of them are very competitive at CMU. Don't worry so much about it.</p>
<p>It was just a coincidence that the later notifications were mostly waitlists and rejections. Also, it is not like the complete CMU applicant pool is on CC. </p>
<p>So, if anyone is saying that there is a high possibility that there is a chance of rejection if you are in the later wave, they are being ignorant. There have been rejections for the first wave too.</p>
<p>yeah, and most people who get rejected don't usually bother to write it on CC - thats another reason why we see less rejections than acceptances overally, on CC</p>
<p>qazwsx1!, that's reassuring. Thanks for posting. I think there will be accepts AND rejects in the next wave as well (and waitlists :p).</p>

<p>My school's valedictorian applied for CMU with 2300 SATs, and other amazing stats, but he said his decision was blank too. And honestly, if they reject him, something's wrong. He is the smartest/coolest kid at my school. Well, this gives me hope. =O</p>
<p>Blank lines don't mean anything. The theory was disproved by the other thread floating around here about the correlation of blank lines/acceptances.</p>
