Very often the AR date is noted on the transcript next to the course.
I called the petitions department and asked if there will be date of academic renewal approval, they said no. just a simple AR next to my previous grade.
UCLA replied to my email and said to send in the details in the “update coursework” section and just write it in the additional comments. they will get back to me in 15 days
I was able to call my admissions counselor at Cal and she said that she will look over the new information and review my application again. She did say that quite honestly I can get rescinded for this but she has to review everything in its entirety to see how it affects my profile as a whole. I explained that it was a mistake and she said that its case by case (again) and that tons of other students are at risk of being rescinded for my same reason. She seemed tired and overworked
I just have to cross my fingers and hope for the best. Citrus has been very helpful to me in resolving this issue on their end.
btw, im a girl. Not that it makes a difference but it’s weird to see ppl refer to me as a man…
I don’t think the AR will work. You should still do it of course, and take care of your tuition with Citrus, but UCLA will know when the AR was done, and I remember the UC application reminding me to list ALL coursework several times throughout the process. Be honest with them and hope for the best, but do not get your hopes up. Also in correspondence, do not blame your advisors. Use words like ‘I was misinformed’ or ‘I made an error’ rather than ‘My advisor made a mistake’ or ‘I was given incorrect information’ &c. Just my 2¢.
